I am so very grateful to be present to this very moment - a quiet winter afternoon, I am warm and I am safe. I am able to walk, to hear, to love and to live.
I have coffee and a chocolate biscuit and if I listen carefully I can hear my soon to be new neighbours working in their house next door. They are painting before they move in but if the chat we had this morning is any indication we are going to enjoy being neighbours and I am grateful for that.
There are times when all that I am and have overwhelms me and this is one of those moments and I needed to put the thoughts down.
I am grateful and enjoying every second of this precious gift.
