How lucky am I - I have a broken hand !!
But it is my left hand (my non dominant hand) and it gets me out of doing lots of things, takes me three times as long to type (one handed is very slow) and means I am chauffeur driven wherever I need to go.
Yes it is painful, yes it is awkward (amazing how skillful one becomes when fastening a bra or pulling up undies.) And yes I don't enjoy having to ask for help - but there is always something to be thankful for.
This will heal and it could have been so much worse - so indeed
